Santa Cruz-based DJ Ryan Lincoln has been raised by electronic music most of his life, mainly on drum & bass and dubstep but eventually found the four-on-the-floor beat and now has a wide array of influences to draw from. He co-founded Spicy Boys Club, a collective of DJ’s and partygoers that hosted and collaborated on events all over Santa Cruz, San Jose, and San Francisco. It was with Spicy Boys Club that Ryan truly found his groove in DJing. From playing a monthly showcase that drew a packed room each time, to traveling around the bay and playing new venues, this is truly where he earned his stripes. His sets bring flavor into the club by never just sticking to one sound. House music is the center point of his selection but you can expect all kinds of breaks, UK garage, and even drum & bass.
Some of the artists he’s played support for include: Christian Martin, Mz Worthy, Omnom, Golf Clap, and Foolie; and he’s shared the stage with these artists at venues like The Midway, 1015 Folsom, F8, LVL 44, and The Catalyst.
